The last few days were busy. I had a lot of things to do, a few loose ends to tie, and a lot of new things to learn.
But first, I had to bite the bullet and leave Disney. and what better way to do it than go out with a bang?
Yes, you can really have anything written on a celebrating button.
The last two days were spent in Orientation at Universal. We learned a lot about the culture of the company and the attractions spread throughout the resort. I became accustomed to the Backlot area and the services they offer. Unlike Disney, a lot of the services offered backstage are close together, from the resource area to the special team member stores and cafes. It’s like it’s own little city, just a bit more streamlined.
After work, I spent some time in the parks, and stumbled upon the park decorated in it’s Christmas best.
Needless to say, I’m excited.
And of course, what new job wouldn’t be complete without a shiny new name tag?
This Thanksgiving brought a lot to be thankful to the table. A fresh new start, just in the knick of time. Maybe this is what I need to lead me into the new year in a more positive light.
Can’t wait to see what the future holds.
